The institution was created in March 1997, meeting the real needs of the regional community and the cultural progress of the State and the Country. The Faculdade Vale do Cricaré offers courses in Administration, Analysis and Systems Development, Accounting, Law, Physical Education, Advertising and Advertising, Pedagogy, Production Engineering, Nursing, Architecture and Urbanism, Physiotherapy, Psychology and Dentistry.

The Faculdade Vale do Cricaré aims to form an academic community capable of generating scientific and technological knowledge that allows society as a whole to efficiently participate in the available resources. It is also committed to seeking a new paradigm of teaching, research and extension that requires responsible citizenship in facing the challenges of the new global and pluralized society.

Promote differentiated actions in teaching, research and extension, contributing to the formation of human resources, based on ethical and citizenship values, experiencing a renewed vision of the world and active critical thinking about man and the regional reality.
